Circleup connects to your Google and Microsoft calendars so it can find times that actually work, and puts agreed meet-ups straight into your calendar. Other people only ever see the free/busy windows you choose to share.
How calendar sync works
- Connect your calendars. Link one or more Google or Microsoft calendars in the app.
- Choose where meet-ups land. Pick the calendar new Circleup meetings are added to.
- Add conflict-only calendars. Include sub-calendars, such as public holidays or a partner's schedule, so they block suggested times without being shared.
- Share availability. Define the windows you're happy to meet in, for example weekday lunches from 11:00 to 13:00, and send an invite.
- Get it in both calendars. When the other person taps a slot, the meeting is confirmed and appears in both calendars at the same moment.
What is shared, and what isn't
Circleup reads when you are busy so it can suggest free slots and avoid double bookings. It only edits events it created itself, and your app data is hosted in the EU. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.
How it differs from a booking link
A booking link lets someone pick a slot from your calendar. Circleup is built for meeting in person: in the same invite you pick the time options and the place, add a personal message, and our AI agent can phone the restaurant to reserve a table (live in Switzerland, Germany and Austria). Which calendars does Circleup support?
Google and Microsoft calendars. You can connect more than one calendar and choose which one new meet-ups are added to.
What do other people see when I share my availability?
Only the free/busy windows you choose to share. Titles, descriptions, attendees and locations of your other calendar entries are never shown to anyone.
Can Circleup change my existing calendar entries?
No. Circleup only creates, updates and deletes the events of meetings you arrange with Circleup. It never modifies meetings created directly in Google or Microsoft calendars.
Can I use a calendar only to check for conflicts?
Yes. You can include sub-calendars, such as public holidays or a partner's schedule, purely for conflict checking, so a suggested slot is never secretly impossible.
What happens when the other person picks a time?
The meeting is confirmed and the event appears in your calendar and your counterpart's at the same moment.
What if I lose access to a connected calendar?
Disconnect it under "Connected Accounts" in your profile. Meetings you already scheduled stay in your Circleup schedule.
My business calendar is blocked from connecting. What can I do?
This is usually a privacy setting in your company's email setup. Your IT department can allow the connection.
Does Circleup work for group scheduling?
Not yet. Circleup is built for 1:1 in-person meetings today. Group meet-ups are on the roadmap.
